Hung La
Hung La is one of a skilled group of Vietnamese-American poker players and is originally from Saigon, Vietnam. Hung La is also a cousin of the most famous Vietnamese-American poker player, Men Nguyen, more commonly known as Men the Master. Hung La has a birthday of December 15.
Hung La won a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2002 while playing Limit Holdem. This earned him a prize of $190,920. He has made a couple more final table appearances at the World Series of Poker and has also made two final table appearances at the World Poker Tour, but has not won a World Poker Tour event.
During his career, Hung La has registered four first place finishes and has won more than $2 million, including tournament winnings. His hobbies are volleyball and basketball and his favorite movie is the Godfather.
Hung La lives in Manhattan Beach, California and is a frequent sight in the cardrooms of LA. He is known for his tight-aggressive style and is a tough competitor. Hung La is also the father of four children.
