Poker Maximus III Leaderboard
While most players would already be satisfied with the massive amount of cash available in PM III, Carbon Poker will also be adding a leaderboard competition to the mix. Leaderboard points are awarded based on tournament finish position, the buy-in amount and how many people are in each specific event. Those who excel in the most PM III tourneys will move up the board and on towards major cash.
The official prizes for this year’s leaderboard race have yet to be released, but Poker Maximus II saw the top 10 finishes split $5,400 – with $2,300 going to first place. There are also 100 accolades that will be given out to the top 100 finishers on this board.

Poker Satellites at Carbon
Much like the PM III Leaderboard, the satellite schedule hasn’t been made public either. So referring back to the second Poker Maximus series again, you can expect to find dozens of satellites running each day throughout November. What really stands out about these qualifiers is the variety since buy-ins range from $1.10 to $73.30, and they’re available in both MTT and SNG format.
For example, you could play a $5.60 buy-in, six-max SNG where the winner receives a $33 tournament coupon. Or you could compete in a $2.20 MTT where the top 20 players receive an $11 tourney coupon. As can be seen, these low buy-in satellites give grinders an excellent shot to win big PM III seats.
