Attention US Poker and USA Casino Players
You may have noticed your favorite US poker rooms and USA casinos no longer accept US players like they used to. However, there are more online poker rooms accepting US poker players than you may think.
The restriction to US poker players began in 2006 when a bill known as the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was underhandedly passed by piggybacking a much more important bill, The Safe Port Act. The new bill basically says that it is illegal for banks to handle transactions between customers and known "illegal" online gambling establishments. However, the bill DOES NOT make it illegal for individuals to play online poker. In fact, you can still legally fund a real money online poker account without worry, the only ones on the hook are the banks and the operators of the online poker rooms.
